Welcome to Doc Dawgs

No greater friend, No worse enemy

the American Bulldog

Thank you for your visit to our site.    Our kennel is located in SE North Carolina (above Myrtle Beach and below Wilmington).   We are a family breeding just 3-4 quality litters a year.  No puppy mill here.   We love Abs and make great friends of  the ones that adopt our puppies.

We use this site as a way of getting information out about bulldogs, American Bulldog puppies, and training tips.

The American Bulldog (AB) is the finest animal God made.  The AB will obey you and stand by your side when no other earthly being would.  They are smarter than most people I've met and more predictable than the sun.   They will give their life for you and wish they had another to offer.  They are the best that you will ever find in a lifetime of looking at great dogs.

Hear Mr. Chris Savage speak about his new puppy:

Mr. Sean Parlier (see one of Sean's dogs on this site) speak about owning American Bulldogs and his new puppy.

I adopted my AB in October of 2008. Since then my baby Dallas has grown from 17 pounds to a whopping 73 pounds and STILL growing more and more every day. He is a big softy and loves his belly rubbed and loves sitting on my lap while watching animal planet! i have never seen a dog who enjoys watching tv but Dallas will sit through a whole episode of DOGS 101 and respond to their dog barks through the TV!!! He is my big baby and i'm looking forward to him growing more. he also enjoys taking ME for WALKS!!! thank you so much for breeding great and wonderful dogs!!!!!

I am Byron "Doc" Carroll the one on the above-right holding Tyte's trophies, and this is my Dawg's site.  I love American Bulldogs, and have been an AB enthusiast for the past 12 years.   I have been involved with this bloodline for four generations.  Enjoy the site and call or write me with any questions or interest in doing some trading.

Our puppies are healthy when sold.  I expect them to stay that way. The puppies new homes are scrutinized before adoption.  Both myself and our vet are happy with the health of our puppies before leaving Doc Dawgs.
